AIR Control Concepts Awarded TIPS Trades Labor & Materials Contracts to Support Public Sector MEP Projects

AIR Control Concepts Awarded TIPS Trades Labor & Materials Contracts to Support Public Sector MEP Projects

AIR Control Concepts is pleased to announce the award of its Trades Labor & Materials contracts through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), expanding nationwide access for TIPS members to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services — including HVAC and related trade work — through AIR Control Concepts and participating companies within the AIR network.

The awarded contracts include non-Job Order Contracting under TIPS Contract No. 26010401 and Job Order Contracting under TIPS Contract No. 26010402. Together, these contract vehicles provide TIPS members with access to labor, materials, equipment, installation, replacement, service, and project support through competitively awarded cooperative purchasing contracts.

For schools, municipalities, counties, colleges, universities, and other eligible public entities, the contracts offer a practical path to move needed MEP and trade-related projects forward. By providing access to pre-competed contract pathways, the awards are designed to help public agencies reduce procurement delays, limit duplicative administrative work, and make more efficient use of taxpayer-funded resources.

This initiative is led by AIR Control Concepts’ Government Services Division, under the leadership of Jonathan Hulecki, to support federal and public sector growth across AIR’s operating companies and affiliated network. The division is focused on helping local, state, and federal customers access the resources, technical expertise, and service capabilities available across the AIR organization.

“This award gives AIR Control Concepts and our network companies a practical way to help public agencies move needed MEP projects forward more efficiently,” said Daniel Bedenbaugh, Contract Manager for AIR Control Concepts. “We are grateful for the opportunity TIPS provides, and our goal is to support agencies with structured contract access, local execution, and responsible use of taxpayer-funded resources.”

Through AIR’s participating Authorized Resellers, TIPS members may access local market support backed by the broader resources, vendor relationships, and Government Services structure of AIR Control Concepts. This allows public agencies to work with local MEP, HVAC, and mechanical experts while drawing on the scale and capabilities of the AIR network.

The contracts are designed to support a wide range of public sector project needs, including HVAC equipment replacement, system changeouts, mechanical upgrades, electrical and plumbing work, service and repairs, materials procurement, and project-based labor. The Job Order Contracting option provides an additional pathway for agencies seeking structured pricing and project execution under applicable contract requirements.

AIR Control Concepts’ Government Services Division will continue working with Authorized Resellers across the AIR network to support contract rollout, compliance coordination, public sector engagement, and project execution.
